With ‘Folklore,’ Taylor Swift continues to set records in the midst of a global pandemic

For all its musical softness, “Folklore” seems to have landed with a thud that reverberates to this day. Billboard reported Sunday that the album has become the first to sell a million copies in the United States this year. It has also returned to the top of the Billboard 200 chart for an eighth non-consecutive week.

These feats aren’t out of character for Swift. “Folklore,” her eighth studio album, follows in the footsteps of last year’s “Lover,” the only 2019 record to sell a million copies stateside. Including “The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection,” released in 2007, nine of the singer’s albums have sold at least a million copies each. According to Billboard, 2008′s “Fearless” continues to reign supreme at a whopping 7.21 million.

But wait, there’s more! Swift has been nominated for favorite female pop/rock artist at the American Music Awards next month and, if she wins for the third

OnePlus TV U1 is like the OnePlus TV Q1 but more affordable. OnePlus of course had to make some changes to bring the price down from Rs 69,900 to Rs 49,999 but the biggest change it made was listening to critical and customer feedback. I can’t stress enough how important that is. The Q1 had every ingredient to justify its higher price tag, but it was also rough around the edges being OnePlus’ first attempt and all. The U1 may not be as high-end, but it’s a much more concerted effort from OnePlus. It’s more polished and even more value for money, making it the company’s best smart television in the market today.

This starts with the core design. Now, the Q1 was a beautiful TV to look

Many companies have tried injecting more personality into their Twitter feeds to humanize their brands. Companies often interact with each other on Twitter. Many of them are competitive: Dunkin’ and Wendy’s got into a Twitter spat in mid-October.

But the McDonald’s Twitter conversation was actually heartwarming. Here’s how it all went down.

First, McDonald’s tweeted: it’s always “when is the McRib coming back” and never “how are you

Michigan Whitmer plot: Lawyer for accused domestic terrorist says suspect was just ‘playing army’

Just past one mobile home, neat piles of seven or eight tires stretch out 15 feet. Beyond them, wooden pallets have been stacked to form a C-shaped wall. Human silhouettes have been spray-painted in red on some of them. They are pocked with bullet holes.

And on that mid-September weekend, there was a large explosion.

“We heard a big boom, a big one,” said Cliff Demos, who lives about a mile away with his wife and horses. “It was right over there,” he said, pointing up the road. “It was huge. It was huge.”

The FBI says the Luther property belongs to Ty Garbin, and he along with eight others were training there for a possible attack.

But Garbin’s lawyer, Mark Satawa, says there is much still to learn.

Ty Garbin, shown in a booking photo, has been charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

In an exclusive interview with CNN, Satawa said the FBI’s account of that weekend omitted details about his client’s reaction and

Nicole Kidman sings theme for HBO show ‘The Undoing’

If you’re listening to the theme song of the new HBO miniseries “The Undoing” and thinking that voice sounds awfully familiar, you’re right.

Nicole Kidman is showing that husband Keith Urban isn’t the only singer in the family, as she is the one who can be heard singing the popular standard “Dream a Little Dream of Me” over footage of a young girl with a head full of red curls playing with bubbles to open the show.

The Australian star of “Big Little Lies” recently confirmed to The Sydney Morning Herald that it’s her singing the song and admitted to some nervousness about putting her voice out there.

“I can’t do with my voice what I can do when I act and that’s very frustrating,” Kidman said. “With performance, there’s the possibility I may

TV Ratings: Trump ’60 Minutes’ Interview Draws 17 Million Viewers

Donald Trump’s contentious interview with veteran “60 Minutes” host Lesley Stahl, as well as Joe Biden’s less eventful sit-down, scored the show its largest audience since 2018.

The dual Biden and Trump interviews, the latter of which the President cut short, drew a total of 16.8 million total viewers on CBS and scored a 2.4 rating among adults 18-49, per Nielsen time adjusted fast national numbers. That represents the most viewers to tune in since the infamous Stormy Daniels interview from March two years ago. During the Trump interview, Stahl grilled the President on his coronavirus response.

The strong “60 Minutes” performance was likely due in part to the fact it was pre-empted by an NFL game. However, it still managed to put up those impressive numbers up against “Sunday Night Football” and the World Series.

Speaking of the football, a doozy of a game between the Arizona Cardinals and

Apple TV+ Awards Film Push Heats Up

Streaming services’ push for Oscars becomes harder to ignore every year, and Apple’s role in that push is becoming much clearer as 2020 comes to a close.

Last week, Apple dropped its long-gestating “On the Rocks” feature film, which Variety film awards editor Clayton Davis last week predicted will be nominated for Best PictureFeaturing Bill Murray and Rashida Jones, the film marks a shift from the more serious and non-fiction feature films Apple has released to date.

One of those non-fiction titles is Apple’s documentary original “Boys State,” which released on the service in mid-August. Davis predicts “Boys State” will be nominated for the Best Documentary Feature Oscar.

Even if “Boys State” doesn’t nab that nom, Apple’s eligible titles for Best Documentary Feature continues to grow.

Bruce Springsteen’s Letter to You” also dropped last week on Apple TV+, which announced
