Rico Nasty Drops Debut Album ‘Nightmare Vacation’

For longtime Rico Nasty fans, today is a global holiday of sorts thanks to the release of the genreless artist’s debut studio album Nightmare Vacation.

As Nasty explained during a recent in-depth chat with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, much of this album was written and recorded during a time in her life where her personal confidence wasn’t dialed up to its usual level of 10. She attributed this to both the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and “growing up,” though the ultimate result was a fresh sense of pride in the self.

“That’s why I named it Nightmare Vacation because all the shit that I was scared of at one point, scared to do and scared to say, it just became my second nature,” Nasty told Lowe. “I want to say that shit. I don’t care if I hurt somebody’s feelings. I’m going to wear it. I don’t care if

Ty Dolla Sign, Tyga, And Blxst’s ‘Chosen’ Is A West Coast Groove

This year has been all about growth and expansion for California native Blxst, and looking back at the past 12 months, it clear that the singer has achieved that. Following a great feature on Mozzy’s “I Ain’t Perfect” track from his Beyond Bulletproof album, Blxst set out on his own and released his debut solo project, No Love Lost, towards the end of the summer. The effort quickly proved that the singer was here to stay and now, he’s back with his deluxe version.

Adding six more songs to the project, one of the best additions to No Love Lost finds Blxst calling on a pair of well known West coast names, Ty Dolla Sign and Tyga, for “Chosen.” The collaboration sees the three acts praising the woman they have respectively chosen as a partner with stay beside them for the foreseeable future. Across their three verses, Blxst, Ty

Justin Timberlake And Ant Clemons’ ‘Better Days’ Seeks Just That

It’s been two years since Justin Timberlake has graced his fans with an album, which was his 2018 Man Of The Woods album, a project that left fans disappointed as it departed from his usual sound and choice of content. While it’s unknown when the Tennesse native will deliver his next body of work, fans can be happy in the meantime as Timberlake returns with his second guest appearance of the year thanks to a collaboration with up and coming R&B singer, Ant Clemons.

The singers brought their talents together for their new single, “Better Days.” The track is an optimistic number that finds them both alluding to the light at the end of the tunnel for a world drowning in a number of issues: heightened political battles, the coronavirus, and more on top of the issues that already existed in a “normal world.” According to a press release, the

Miley Cyrus Confirms Which ‘WTF Do I Know’ Lyrics Are About Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus is opening up about her new music and how the song “WTF Do I Know” is about her split from ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.

The 28-year-old singer is on the new episode of The Howard Stern Show and she was asked about some specific lyrics in the song.

“You want an apology? Not from me / I had to leave you in your own misery / So tell me, baby, am I wrong that I moved on? / And I, and I don’t even miss you,” Miley sings on the track.

Miley explained that when she writes her music, it’s sometimes about what she’s just feeling for a second.

“‘WTF Do I Know,’ it’s not that it’s how I feel every second of the day, it’s how I felt for a moment. That works as some sort of protective armor and there’s a sense of myself that does

The Weeknd’s ‘Blinding Lights’: Variety Hitmakers Record of the Year

The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” is indisputably one of the landmark songs of 2020 —and the only reason it isn’t even more dominant is because it was released on Nov. 29, 2019, and racked up significant numbers that year as well.

Written by The Weeknd with Max Martin (the most successful songwriter-producer of the past 25 years) and Oscar Holter and produced by the trio with Jason “DaHeala” Quenneville and Ahmad “Belly” Balshe, the song has racked up a jaw-dropping 4.5 billion global streams. It’s the most-streamed song of the year on Spotify and the ninth most-streamed song on the platform of all time (and it’s barely a year old). It’s Billboard’s No. 1 Record of the year and set an all-time record for the longest-running Top 5 and Top 10 record in the Hot 100’s 62-year history. It’s the most played song on America’s largest radio network, iHeartRadio, and has

Gloria Estefan Blames Fan Interaction For Her Covid-19 Experience

Click here to read the full article.

Gloria Estefan followed the pandemic rules. She claims she “rigorously” complied with health and safety measures, limiting her exposure to others. But the 63-year-old singer admitted during an Instagram video chat that she was “one of the victims of Covid.”

Despite her adherence to protocols, Estefan said she dined outdoors at a restaurant in Miami with three family members. She tested negative days later, but soon started feeling ill and got the classic coronavirus symptoms of losing taste and smell, along with a cough and dehydration.

“The only thing that I can imagine happened is that someone came up to me when I was eating and tapped me on the shoulder,” she said. “They were very close, they had no mask and they were telling me beautiful things — but that’s the only thing that I have done outside my enclosure here, my
