Strictly Come Dancing eliminates second celebrity in Movie Week, as the BBC One show continues.
After Saturday night’s (November 7) Movie Week performances, the couple with the lowest judges’ scores were also the ones to leave – Jason Bell and Luba Mushtuk.
Their Paso Doble to the Star Wars theme by John Williams earned them just 12 points from judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood, sending them into the dreaded dance-off alongside Nicola Adams and Katya Jones.
Nicola and Katya performed their Jive to ‘Greased Lightning’ from Grease, which had earned them 19 points from the judges on Saturday’s show.

After both couples performed again, Craig was impressed that they had both improved in their routines, but it wasn’t enough to save Jason and Luba.
Craig said: “Well there was a marked improvement in both performances this evening and both couples actually took the notes that we gave them which was brilliant. But the couple I would like to save is Nicola and Katya.”
Motsi chose to save Nicola and Katya as well, noting they were “stronger” in every aspect, and Shirley also said she would have saved the pair.

She explained: “I definitely saw that one couple was stronger – stronger performance, stronger technique, stronger intention – and that is why I’m saving Nicola and Katya.”

When asked by Tess Daly about his time on the show, Jason replied: “It was an opportunity of a lifetime. I had so much fun, thank you Luba.
“You have worked so hard with me, you’re a great friend for life and I appreciate all that you’ve done, I really do. I’ve had such a good time here. Everybody is wonderful.
“I mean really this is amazing – this is a brilliant place! This is the best group of people ever, this is amazing.”
Jason and Luba will be joining Zoe Ball on Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two on Monday (November 9).
Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday (November 14) on BBC One. Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, hosted by Zoe Ball and Rylan Clark-Neal, airs Mondays through Fridays at 6.30pm on BBC Two.
