Lil Nas X delivered his debut performance of his latest single “Holiday” in the first episode of Amazon Music’s three-part holiday concert series, Holiday Plays, which premiered on Tuesday. The rapper is serving double-duty as a musical performer as well as host for the show. “Holiday” is Lil Nas X’s first new music since he dropped his 2019 debut 7 EP.

During the performance, the rapper mirrors one of the characters he plays in the song’s official video, this time sporting a glowing pink outfit, beard and hair in a North Pole Christmas future setting he envisions taking place in the year 2220. It opens with him encased in a glass enclosure, which he busts through to groove along with a group of Android-styled dancers as he sings and dances to the song.

The first episode of Holiday Plays also included Miley Cyrus. Each

Miley Cyrus Is Planning a “Goth Medieval” Christmas

Miley Cyrus revealed she’s going goth for the holidays, with plans to have an all-black Christmas.

The pop star made an appearance on the KISS FM Breakfast Show over the weekend to discuss her new album Plastic Hearts and her plans for decorating her home for the holidays. “I want an all-black tree this year, I wanna do like goth Christmas,” she said. “I think instead of a garland do, like, rosaries, upside-down studded crosses and, yeah, very goth medieval kinda vibes.”

While those vibes might not be customarily festive, they’re definitely still a step up from her family’s Christmas tradition of ending the night in “Fistfights, and usually with each one of us removing ourselves and slamming the door in some way and a lot of apology texts.” The singer continued, “I mean we’re all kind of conspiracy theorists and I remember one year we got onto the topic

‘Fatman’ is an awful Christmas movie in which Mel Gibson is great. That doesn’t make it better.

Santa Claus, it is said, knows when you are sleeping, so it’s probably best to come clean if he asks whether you saw “Fatman,” the new sedative written and directed (in the broadest possible sense of those words) by brothers Eshom Nelms and Ian Nelms. The film follows Santa, played by Mel Gibson; Mrs. Claus, played by Marianne Jean-Baptiste; and a hit man, played by Walton Goggins.

It is terrible.

The fat man in question is, of course, Santa; he is being hunted by Goggins’ Skinny Man, who has been hired by Billy Wenan (Chance Hurstfield), a middle schooler who earned a lump of coal one Christmas. (He hired Skinny Man to kidnap a classmate and threaten her with electrocution if she didn’t falsely confess to cheating at the science fair where she took first prize and he was runner-up.)

As if a Santa assassination scheme weren’t enough of a

“We were trying to figure out who we could bring in to produce the album and I was like, scrolling online and looking up all my favorite Christmas albums and stuff and I came across him,” she told Clarkson during an interview segment. “And I was like, that would be so amazing if he would do my album but thinking it’d be a long shot … and then he said yes.”

Clarkson is no stranger to “Silent Night” — in fact, she has her own rendition on her 2013 album, “Wrapped in Red.”

The two singers also played a game on the show where they tried to
