After The Defeat Of Donald Trump, Sacha Baron Cohen Turns His Attention To Mark Zuckerberg

Sacha Baron Cohen must be thrilled that Donald Trump, the subject that sparked most of Borat Subsequent Movefilm’s hijinks, has officially lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden.

But the master prankster has no shortage of targets; Baron Cohen celebrated Trump’s humiliating defeat by posting a picture on Twitter, depicting Trump and Zuckerberg together with a caption that reads: “One down, one to go.”

I can’t think of a better subject for an elaborate, televised prank than Mark Zuckerberg, the awkward Facebook founder with the uncanny-valley haircut; the man would practically short-circuit when faced with one of Baron Cohen’s hilarious alter-egos.

But Zuckerberg’s inability to mimic normal human behaviour isn’t what makes him the perfect target for Baron Cohen (although, it certainly doesn’t hurt). Rather, it’s the fact that he, along with most of our other billionaire tech overlords, has greatly contributed to

Actor Sacha Baron Cohen, who stars in “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm,” donated $100,000 to the church of a woman who believed she was taking part in a documentary but instead was being featured in the mockumentary comedy film.

Jeanise Jones, 62, thought she had been recruited by her place of worship, Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, in Oklahoma City to mentor a teenager named “Tutar” who came to the U.S. with her father from a developing nation. But Jones didn’t find out until the film was released on Amazon Prime last week that

Sacha Baron Cohen Explains How An Encounter With TSA Security Almost Cost The Film Its Scene With Mike Pence

Click here to read the full article.

In Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm, Sacha Baron Cohen’s Kazakh journalist persona gains access to some of the nation’s most powerful men. However, like the Rudy Giuliani scene, the film’s CPAC moment with Mike Pence nearly fell apart, Baron Cohen revealed on Monday.

The Trial of the Chicago 7 actor told Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen Show that a security screening and encounter with the TSA at the conservative event nearly revealed his true identity. In the sequel, directed by Jason Woliner, the titular character dresses as President Donald Trump to deliver his daughter Tutar (Maria Bakalova) as a bride for Vice President Pence.

“I got into a different disguise, got past the CPAC security and the TSA were actually kind of “wanding” me…it went past my chest and it beeped and I was terrified,” Baron Cohen said to the talk show host.

Sacha Baron Cohen Donates $100,000 to Community of Babysitter Duped in ‘Borat’ Sequel

Sacha Baron Cohen has donated $100,000 to charities in the Oklahoma City area in the name of Jeanise Jones, the unemployed babysitter who was duped by the actor in a sizable cameo in “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.”

Derrick Scobey, the pastor at Jones’ Ebenezer Baptist Church who will distribute the funds at Jones’ request, told People about Baron Cohen’s donation. The money will be used for shelter, food and relief from ice storms and power outages currently facing the city, he said.

A rep for Baron Cohen had no comment.

“I was blown away but not surprised because I was told about what type of heart this man has,” Scobey told People about Baron Cohen’s donation. “Maybe it’s a little risqué, some of the things in the movie, but he has a good heart.”

Borat 2 Jeanise Jones babysitter

Fans of “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” have raised over $50,000 for Jeanise Jones, the grandmother who appears in the film and is hired to babysit Borat’s daughter, Tutar, after Jones revealed that she was compensated only $3,600 for her time.

According to a GoFundMe started for Jones by her pastor, she did not realize she was filming a “Borat” movie — and is currently unemployed due to pandemic-related downsizing at the Oklahoma City insurance company where she’s worked for three decades.

In a series of interviews published this week, Jones and her pastor Derrick Scobey explained just how convincing Sacha Baron Cohen and co-star Maria Bakalova were.

Jones appears in two scenes in “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm,” in which Borat asks Jones to look after his 15-year-old daughter, Tutar (Bakalova) and brings her into her home wearing a ball and chain. She then learns that
