Miley Cyrus is just days away from unveiling her highly anticipated Plastic Hearts album, and while chatting with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe on Monday (Nov. 23), the singer opened up about the variety of inspirations behind the album.

“Golden G String,” she shared, was written in “2017 or 2018″ and “is reflective of Donald Trump as president and the men hold all the cards — and they ain’t playing gin, and they determine your fate.”

“This song, which is also about kind of the cross I’ve had to bear, in a way, of saying, ‘I feel like everything that I’ve done has just been up for all the opinions and I guess people being offended and all this sh-t,’ she continued. “But it’s like our president grabs women by the, and you’re mad at me. I’m a pop star. I’m supposed to do these things. I’m supposed to

“He’s going to loom large,” Jim VandeHei, CEO and co-founder of Axios, said on CNN’s “Reliable Sources” Sunday. “He’s going to announce that he’s going to run in 2024. He’s going to have the RNC under his control.”

VandeHei called Joe Biden “more boring” and “more conventional” than President Donald Trump, clarifying that those are affectionate labels.

Trump’s daily tweets, theatrics and antics have boosted cable news network viewership numbers and traffic on news websites, and VandeHei said he wouldn’t be surprised to see a dip in ratings and traffic, particularly around politics after Trump leaves office.

Seeing those declines could tempt the media to continue covering Trump, who has helped increase eyeballs on their coverage across the United

In the 16 days since the November 3 contest, Trump has appeared in public just three times—and on none of those occasions did he take inquiries from reporters.

His most recent outing was last Friday, when he delivered an update on Operation Warp Speed, which is his administration’s program to develop and distribute a coronavirus vaccine. During the news conference, his first since Biden was projected the winner of the race, the president took credit for a coronavirus vaccine developed by Pfizer and said it could be widely available as soon as April.

Donald Trump ‘spread racist lies’ about Barack Obama, Michelle says

CLOSE

Michelle Obama said she’s “feeling the consequences” of President Donald Trump’s “failure” to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

USA TODAY

Reflecting on her own transition out of the White House in 2017, former first lady Michelle Obama is urging American leaders to help ensure a “smooth transition of power” between President Donald Trump and President-elect Joe Biden.

In a lengthy Instagram post shared Monday, Obama, 56, recalled husband and former President Barack Obama’s transition after Trump won the 2016 election, during which the couple worked to help prepare the Trump administration for the tasks ahead, just as “George and Laura Bush had done for us.” They offered meetings and “detailed memos” to Donald and Melania Trump to share what they had learned during Obama’s two terms.

“I have to be honest and say that none of this was easy for me,” Obama wrote. “Donald Trump had spread racist lies

Barack Obama laments ‘truth decay, Donald Trump’s election claims

By the time he assumed office, Obama realized, “The ego part of it didn’t interest me anymore. What interested me was what could I get done.”

USA TODAY Handout

Barack Obama reflected on a wide range of topics from his upcoming memoir, including the isolation of the presidency, his attempts to reach across the aisle, and his post-presidency life in an interview with Gayle King on “CBS Sunday Morning” and again Sunday evening with Scott Pelley on “60 Minutes.”

The former president, speaking from the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, discussed his own experiences in the White House and brushed off President Donald Trump’s and his supporters’ fight against the election results.

“Joe Biden will be the next president of the United States and Kamala Harris will be the next vice president of the United States. There is no legal basis,” Obama, 59, said to King of lawsuits filed

Donald Trump tries to remain the nation’s top Republican

CLOSE

President Trump said his administration would not go to a national COVID-19 lockdown while speaking from the Rose Garden.

USA TODAY

WASHINGTON – Donald Trump may not be president much longer, but he still wants to run the Republican Party for the foreseeable future.

If he can.

From setting up a political action committee to suggesting he might run again in 2024, Trump is already working to keep his hold on the GOP after his term ends – but he also faces formidable obstacles in his future drive to stay relevant, according to advisers and other members of the Republican Party.

“He’ll be the head of the party, no matter what happens,” said one Trump aide, who like others spoke on condition of anonymity because the president still believes he will prevail in his election lawsuits.

Other Republicans say it won’t be so easy for Trump to control the

Donald Trump’s tweets won’t change that Joe Biden is president-elect

CLOSE

Fact No. 1: Joe Biden is certain to defeat Donald Trump once the presidential election is certified.

Fact No. 2: A lot of people are upset about Fact No. 1.

Fact No. 3: Fact No. 2 has no effect on Fact No. 1.

Suggestion: Every reporter, columnist, television talking head, radio analyst, website owner and telegraph operator should remember this, and their coverage should reflect it.

This is not how to win friends, Dale Carnegie, but it might influence people. That’s important, because there are a lot of folks trying to convince them otherwise.

The list starts with Trump, of course, who seemingly has given up governing as a going concern and instead has begun celebrating Festivus early, with the traditional airing of grievances. He tweets day and night about how Democrats and the demon media are trying to steal the election from him, without evidence. He’s dispatched legal

Home Alone 2 Director Says Donald Trump Bullied ‘His Way Into the Movie’

20th Century Fox Macaulay Culkin and Donald Trump in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

Donald Trump’s cameo in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York wasn’t initially planned by the film’s director Chris Columbus.

The filmmaker, 62, spoke about the 1992 sequel to his blockbuster Christmas film Home Alone in an interview with Insider on Thursday, recalling how he wanted to shoot a scene in the lobby of The Plaza Hotel, which was owned by the president, 74, at the time.

“Trump said okay,” Columbus recalled. “We paid the fee, but he also said, ‘The only way you can use the Plaza is if I’m in the movie.’ “

The director continued, “So we agreed to put him in the movie, and when we screened it for the first time the oddest thing happened: People cheered when Trump showed up on screen. So I said to my editor,
