Now that the great mystery over William Bowery‘s identity has been solved, Taylor Swift‘s super-sleuth fans have turned their attention to cracking a brand new case, this time in the form of Ryan Reynolds‘s latest ad campaign for the dating website Match.

The singer is still working on re-recording her first six albums after manager Scooter Braun bought and sold her entire music catalog as part of a deal with her former label Big Machine, but she revealed on Twitter on Wednesday that she gave a remake of her classic hit “Love Story” to Reynolds to serve as the soundtrack of the ad. Ever the hyper-vigilant consumers of her content, fans suspect Swift may have given more than just her music to the commercial after they spotted what they believe to be a subtle dig at Braun hidden within the commercial’s art direction.

Cris Collinsworth’s Remark About Female Steelers Fans Is Perfect Example Of 2020 Media Controversy

NBC’s Cris Collinsworth was trying to compliment Steelers fans during Pittsburgh’s matchup Wednesday with the Baltimore Ravens. Instead, the longtime NFL broadcaster wound up dismissing the knowledge of female football fans, saying he was impressed with the level of questions the women in Pittsburgh had asked him during his visit. The poor phrasing resulted in immediate online backlash, with prominent outlets such as Deadspin and USA Today Sports criticizing him with sharply worded nighttime editorials.

Late on Wednesday night, Collinsworth issued an apology on Twitter, and said he regrets his wording. The mea culpa has been received favorably, and now, Collinsworth is no longer trending. He will not be canceled; the controversy has passed.

The ‘Toxic’ hitmaker treated fans to the previously unheard outtake from her 2016 album ‘Glory’, which she made available to stream to coincide with her birthday.

The new song comes after it was revealed that Britney “will not perform” whilst her father is her conservator.

The ‘I’m a Slave 4 U’ hitmaker – whose last gig was in October 2018 – recently filed new documents via her lawyer which asked the courts to strip her father, Jamie Spears, from his position as co-conservator of her estate entirely, as she no longer wants him in control of her life and career.

And last month, her lawyer claimed Britney is “afraid” of her dad, and doesn’t want to step foot on stage until he has been ousted from his role

Taylor Swift fans just received an early Christmas present: a “snippet” of her rerecorded hit “Love Story” featured in a hilarious new ad for dating site Match. The commercial was created by “Deadpool” actor Ryan Reynolds‘ ad agency, Maximum Effort. He and wife, actress Blake Lively, are longtime friends of Swift. Reynolds is also on the board of directors of Match’s parent company, Match Group.

Britney Spears surprises fans with previously unreleased track, ‘Swimming In the Stars’

It’s Britney Spears’ birthday, y’all! To celebrate her big day, her record label RCA has surprised fans by dropping a previously unreleased track titled “Swimming In the Stars.”

Spears first recorded “Swimming in the Stars” for her most recent studio album, “Glory,” which was released back in Aug. 2016. Matthew Koma, Dan Book and Alexei Misoul wrote the track. Back in 2015, Koma revealed he had been working with Spears, though his tracks never made it on to the album — that is, until now.

“She’s extremely talented,” Koma told Pop Crush at the time. “It’s funny getting to work with her sometimes, you know, because you just think about the history and how much of pop music is influenced today by things she’s done and invented.”

“It’s super surreal to sit there and hear Britney Spears sing one of your songs,” he added. “It’s like — it’s one of

Taylor Swift Promises to ‘Always Advocate’ for LGBTQ Fans in Attitude Awards Speech

The singer went on to say that the only real way to make change was to get anti-discrimination policies passed in governments around the world. “Everyone should be able to live out their love story without the fear of discrimination, and the way for that to happen is for us to continue to keep pushing governments to put protections in place for members of the LGBTQ community,” she said. “I promise to always advocate for that. I’m just grateful for this amazing award.”

In 2018, Swift began to voice her political opinions with an Instagram post about the midterm elections in Tennessee, where she said she would not support Republican candidate Marsha Blackburn for the Senate due in part to her record of voting against LGBTQ equality (Blackburn won the election and became a U.S. senator for the state of Tennessee).

Then, in 2019, Swift used her music video for

Kelly Clarkson’s new ‘Kellyoke’ reminds fans of Alisan Porter ‘Voice’ audition

Fans are used to Kelly Clarkson hitting it out of the park with her “Kellyoke” segments on her talk show. Her cover of Linda Ronstadt’s “Blue Bayou” on Tuesday’s episode was so good, though, that it had fans thinking about another version of the hit 1977 song.

Clarkson, who currently serves as a coach on “The Voice,” wowed fans with her sultry cover of the Grammy-nominated track. And some people couldn’t help but notice it sounded similar to Alisan Porter’s version of Ronstadt’s tune (which itself is a cover of Roy Orbison’s 1963 song) during her “Voice” blind audition in 2016 before she went on to win the show’s 10th season.

Watch TODAY All Day! Get the best news, information and inspiration from TODAY, all day long.
