Gene Simmons and co were due to hit the road this summer to continue the extensive last jaunt around the globe.

However, because of the coronavirus pandemic, they are having to postpone their European shows until June and July 2021, with the 17-date run now due to kick off on June 2 in Antwerp, Belgium.

And Gene, 71, has revealed one of the gigs out of the 150 they are yet to complete will require them to wear their thermals.

Morrison Hotel Gallery Celebrates The Band’s Festive Farewell With ‘The Last Waltz’

Morrison Hotel Gallery Celebrates The Band's Festive Farewell With 'The Last Waltz'

In triumph or tragedy, the disbanding of any great act is a monumental occasion on par with its glorious rise. On the tail-end of a particularly turbulent year, Morrison Hotel Gallery is taking things back to 1976 and simpler times with The Last Waltz. Opening November 25th at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET, the exhibition is a commemorative retrospective of that fateful Thanksgiving Day when The Band really made a feast of farewell concert pomp.

Grey’s Anatomy showrunner Krista Vernoff shared some new details regarding Katherine Heigl’s exit and why she never received a proper send-off like so many other characters.

It turns out, the long-running medical drama series had plans to give the actor, who portrayed Dr. Izzie Stevens for almost six seasons from 2005 to 2010, a farewell episode. However, Heigl allegedly just never showed up to film it.

The day before it was supposed to start prepping or shooting, I can’t remember, we got a call that Katie wasn’t coming. Just wasn’t coming. Wasn’t going to do it.”

“I don’t know what was happening in her life,” Vernoff added. “I don’t
