PLL’s Sasha Pieterse Welcomes 1st Child With Husband Hudson Sheaffer

Sasha Pieterse’s pretty little pregnancy is over! The actress gave birth to her and husband Hudson Sheaffer’s first child on November 6.

“One week ago today our lives changed forever,” the new mom wrote via Instagram on Friday, November 13. “After 27 hours of labor Hendrix Wade Sheaffer made his grand entrance on November 6th at 5:39am weighing in at 7lbs 14oz and 20.5 inches tall. We are absolutely in love with him and we still can’t believe he’s ours.”

Sia talks debut film ‘Music,’ asking Kate Hudson to shave her head

Sia’s musical drama “Music,” her directorial debut, is ready for the big screen.


The singer discussed the Kate Hudson-starring film, which is expected to be released soon although no official date has been announced, and how it came together Wednesday as part of Variety’s Power of Women: Conversations series. 

The idea for “Music” first came to Sia about 15 years ago, she says, when she wrote a short story. The film features Hudson as Zu, who takes in her special-needs half-sister Music, played by Maddie Ziegler. Leslie Odom Jr. stars as a neighbor who assists with caring for Music.

Sia says she cast the leads for “Music” in an unconventional way: by using Twitter. She tweeted Odom, for instance, after seeing him in “Hamilton,” writing “Hey, do you

Hudson Valley Movie Theaters Preparing To Reopen

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Following the news that movie theaters in New York can now reopen with restrictions, several theaters in the Hudson Valley are preparing to open their doors to the public once again.

On Saturday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced during a briefing that theaters across the state, excluding those in New York City, can reopen starting Friday.

The order allows movie theaters to open at 25 percent capacity and carries with it mandatory guidelines, social distancing requirements and other precautions such as:

  • Movie theaters will only be allowed to reopen if the county of locations has an average positive coronavirus testing rate of less than 2 percent in a 14-day period.

  • Masks will be required at all times except when seated, eating or drinking.

  • Assigned seating will be required.

  • Additional staffing will be required to ensure compliance in occupancy, traffic and seating.

  • Theaters will be required to meet
