Judge Mark Warby granted the delay, which would shift the trial date by about nine months to the fall of 2021. The exact date has not yet been set, according to The Associated Press.

“My conclusion is that the right decision in all the circumstances is to grant the application,” Warby said, according to Reuters. “That means that the trial date of January 11, 2021 will be vacated and the trial will be refixed for a new date in the autumn.”

Warby said at a private hearing that the reason for the delay will remain confidential, Reuters reported.

A trial was due to have started in London in January.

Judge Mark Warby said on Thursday he had granted the delay after Meghan’s team gave “a confidential ground” for doing so.

LONDON (Reuters) – Meghan, the wife of Britain’s Prince Harry, has asked a London court to delay the trial of her privacy action against a British tabloid after a judge ruled the paper could amend its case to include details from a recently published biography.

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is suing Associated Newspapers over articles in the Mail on Sunday that included parts of a handwritten letter she had sent to her estranged father, Thomas Markle, in August 2018.

Last month, the Mail successfully applied for permission to amend its case, arguing that the couple had cooperated with a biography about them, “Finding Freedom”, which was published in August.

A hearing to consider costs and case-management issues was due to take place on Thursday ahead of a trial in January.

But Meghan’s lawyers have submitted

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Have Some Glamorous New Neighbors

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to decamp from L.A. to Montecito, they did so because they wanted to “integrate into the community while having some distance and privacy that is hard to come by in the Los Angeles area,” a friend close to the family told Vogue. Now, another pair of famous faces are following suit: Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.

Multiple reports say the couple purchased a $14 million home in the hillside enclave for, well, the exact same reason the Sussexes did: “Katy grew up in Santa Barbara and always loved it there. Orlando has come to love it as well,” a source told People. He always enjoyed Malibu, but finds Montecito even better since it’s much more private. “

It’s said the couple’s home, built in 1934, sits on just under nine acres and has a stunning view of the ocean. Sounds idyllic—as does

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Attack Social Media’s ‘Global Crisis of Hate’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle called out social media’s “global crisis of hate” in a conversation with Time magazine.

The Duke of Sussex said problems with misinformation were not confined to one platform or one group, but existed across the world.

And Meghan revealed the couple have been talking to tech industry defectors, as well as neuroscientists, about the scale of the problem.

The Duchess of Sussex said: “It can feel really overwhelming to try to understand all the nuance of what happens online.

“It is all-encompassing and it affects us at a multi-faceted level.

“And so we started with professors and experts in the field, with defectors from some of the largest platforms, neurologists—people to really help us view it through a holistic approach.

“And in that there have been relationships, and now friendships, that we
