‘The Disney Holiday Singalong’: Watch Pink sing with her daughter and Kerry Washington perform holiday song

Check out the best performances from the night.

“The Disney Holiday Singalong” kicked off the holiday season with a dazzling display of star power on Monday night.

Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, Monday night’s festivities united recording artists, actors, celebrities and Broadway talent alike to remind everyone watching at home that, even though Christmas will look different this year, the holiday spirit remains unchanged.

Monday night’s message also centered on the importance of family and kindness, as demonstrated by singers teaming with their siblings or young children for their performances.

Kicking off the official singalong was Hollywood power couple Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, who attempted a vocal warmup for the audience watching at home that, unfortunately, went awry. The camera shattered when the outspoken diva went rogue with the high notes.

R&B duo Chloe x Halle took over with their

Pink and daughter Willow perform at ‘The Disney Holiday Singalong’

The countdown to Christmas has begun, complete with carols!

On Monday night, the stars came out to sing in the season on ABC’s “The Disney Holiday Singalong,” and some of them risked being upstaged by sharing the spotlight with special guests — their own kids.

Pop star and powerhouse vocalist Pink even shared the mic with her daughter, Willow, when she took the stage to belt out “The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas to You).”

Pink, decked out in a metallic crimson dress, swayed alongside the 9-year-old, who paired her buzz-cut hairdo with a sweet Cinderella gown, as they swapped verses on the Christmas classic. And it’s hard to say who sounded better, because they sound so much alike.

Of course, fans of Pink have long known that she handed down her voice to her little girl. After all, this isn’t the first time for the mother-daughter duo have taken a

Watch Julia Bullock Perform A Tiny Desk From Home : NPR

The Tiny Desk is working from home for the foreseeable future. Introducing NPR Music’s Tiny Desk (home) concerts, bringing you performances from across the country and the world. It’s the same spirit — stripped-down sets, an intimate setting — just a different space.

Soprano Julia Bullock prefers to be called a “classical singer.” It’s a rather humble, even vague, appellation for one of today’s smartest, most arresting vocalists in any genre.

She was just named Artist of the Year by Musical America, who labeled her an “agent of change.” Bullock, who also considers herself an activist, has shaken up the classical music world recently with provocative programming and expressive performances. You can witness just that in this extraordinary Tiny Desk (home) concert from Munich, Germany with pianist and conductor Christian Reif, whose sensitive playing seems to anticipate and enhance Bullock’s every phrase. He also happens to be her husband.
