Harry Styles Shares A Behind-The-Scenes Look At His ‘Golden’ Video

About a year ago, “Golden” opened Harry Styles’ latest album, Fine Line. Many months later, the track is his latest single, as he dropped a video for it in October. Now he has given fans who want more just that by releasing a behind-the-scenes clip about the making of the video.

It shows typical on-set sort of things, like Styles talking with crew members, getting ready to shoot, alternate angles of scenes that appear in the finish product, and Styles just enjoying the process of making the picturesque visual.

Around a year ago, Styles gave Apple Music’s Zane Lowe a behind-the-scenes look at how the song was written, saying of that day:

“We were all sat in the kitchen at [Rick Rubin’s recording studio] Shangri-La, having dinner, and we played it on one guitar while everyone sang around the table. It just felt really good. Part of the thing

‘Rival Peak’: Reality TV meets video games … on Facebook?

Part video game, part reality show and part animated series, a new project airing on Facebook wants to shift the thinking on interactive television. “Rival Peak,” which will run daily for 12 weeks, allows for different levels of user engagement, unfolding as a scripted series that will shift based upon audience input.

At first glance, “Rival Peak,” which started Wednesday, might remind you of “The Sims.” Only here we’re not controlling characters so much as prodding them along. It also deviates from the Choose Your Own Adventure-inspired feel of many live-action attempts to meld games and television, including a number of relatively high-profiles examples from streamer Netflix.

Rather than emphasize big life-or-death choices, “Rival Peak” seeks participation in a more continuous, playful manner, hoping to forge emotional connections between viewers and players by encouraging the artificially intelligent characters to, say, read a book or pitch a tent. If it works,

The 35-year-old singer released a playful video Wednesday for her holiday single “It’s Not Christmas Till Somebody Cries.”

The video shows the song’s lyrics play out at a family Christmas celebration, including Jepsen’s vegan boyfriend being fed fish and grandpa accidentally eating weed gummies.

“Well, it’s not Christmas ’til somebody / Breaks into an argument / Ooh, I used to fight it / We get emotional too / I won’t deny it / I used to hide in my room but now I like it / ‘Cause it’s not Christmas ’til somebody cries,” Jepsen sings.

Billboard caught up with Hammack and Everclear frontman Art Alexakis from the set of the video shoot in Nashville. The music clip opens with Alexakis as a talent scout for whom Hammack — dressed in a glittery gown similar to the one Marilyn Monroe wore to sing “Happy Birthday” to John F. Kennedy and wearing a big, bright-red wig — is auditioning. Afterward, a raucous performance of the song unfolds. Fans of “I Will Buy You a New Life” will notice some sartorial similarities to the original video on both Hammack and Alexakis.

The two met the day of the shoot. “The So Much for the Afterglow album was really the one that shaped me,” Hammack told Alexakis of the band’s third album, which also included the hits “Father of Mine” and “Everything to Everyone.” “What I really loved was your use of music to interpret your feelings. You, out
